Muara Teweh, Central Kalimantan – Indonesia: The operating Muara Teweh coking coal mine is located along the Barito River in Central Borneo. The mine produces c.7,000CV, ultralow ash, semisoft coking coal with a high CSN and fluidity that does not require washing. BPCI holds the Mining Permit (IUP) and Clean and Clear Certificate for the concession of 4,798 ha, hosting indicated JORC 2012 resources of 2.9Mt as of 2019. BPCI has explored 6% of the total concession area providing significant exploration / delineation potential. Regionally, most concessions are prospective for coal to occur in economic near surface coking coal deposits. The turnkey contract for mining services is with PT KTC to mine up to 678,000 bcm per month. Coal export logistics occurs by a 27km constructed and operating unsealed road to an operating jetty on the Barito river to Taboneo port in Banjarmasin (500 km, 2 days). The BPCI concession is located approximately 30 kilometers west of Muara Teweh in North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan.
